The DRG Motor 5.5 kW 1500 rpm Next Generation Electric Motor is designed for medium to large-scale industrial applications, offering high performance, long service life, and superior energy efficiency. This motor provides reliable power for water pumps, fan systems, light and medium conveyor lines, packaging, and production machinery. Operating at 1500 rpm, it delivers balanced torque, low vibration, quiet, and stable operation.

Designed for S1 continuous-duty operation, it maintains high performance over long periods under nominal load. Available in IE3, IE4, and IE5 efficiency classes, this motor ensures energy savings and reduces long-term operating costs.

Structural Design and Durability

The 5.5 kW 1500 rpm model features a GG20/GG25 cast-iron frame that withstands impact, vibration, and harsh environmental conditions. Optimized cooling fins on the frame maintain stable motor temperature during continuous operation.

Windings are made from 100% electrolytic copper and vacuum-impregnated for long-lasting insulation against heat, moisture, and vibration. The rotor is constructed from special alloy bars and balanced according to G 2.5 standards, ensuring high torque transfer and low vibration.

SKF and C&U bearings, lubricated with high-temperature grease, provide reliable performance over long operating cycles. Double-lip seals prevent dust, water, and particle ingress. Electrostatic powder coating offers chemical and abrasion resistance. IP55 protection rating ensures safe operation in dusty and humid environments.

Performance, Torque, and Efficiency
