The Drg Motor 2.2 kW 1500 rpm Next Generation Electric Motor is engineered for industrial environments requiring continuous operation, high efficiency, stable torque output and long service life. This power range is widely used in pump systems, ventilation units, light and medium conveyor mechanisms, agricultural machinery, compressors, processing equipment and general industrial machinery. Operating at 1500 rpm, the motor provides balanced torque, low vibration, quiet operation and exceptional stability across all load conditions. This makes it one of the most preferred motor classes in small and medium-sized industrial facilities.

The electromagnetic architecture of the motor is optimized using advanced engineering techniques. Special silicon-steel laminations are used in the stator and rotor structure to significantly reduce magnetic losses. As a result, the motor consumes less energy while delivering higher efficiency. DRG Motor offers this model in IE3, IE4 and IE5 high-efficiency variants, providing substantial long-term savings in energy-intensive applications. These high-efficiency classes ensure compliance with global energy standards and enable industrial plants to reduce carbon emissions while lowering electricity expenses.

The motor housing is built from premium GG20/GG25 cast iron material, known for its superior resistance to mechanical impacts, vibration, thermal stress and harsh industrial environments. Integrated cooling fins on the housing ensure excellent heat dissipation, preventing sudden temperature rises during continuous-duty cycles. This thermal stability helps extend the motor’s operational lifespan and maintain consistent performance even under prolonged load.

The windings are made from 100% electrolytic copper and reinforced through vacuum impregnation. This process ensures high insulation resistance against heat, moisture and mechanical stress, significantly reducing the risk of winding damage. The rotor is constructed using high-strength alloy bars that improve torque efficiency and enhance the motor’s starting performance. Balanced to G 2.5 standards, the rotor contributes to reduced vibration, extended bearing life and smoother operation.

High-quality bearings from SKF and C&U are used to maximize durability. These bearings are designed for high-temperature endurance, low-friction rotation and quiet performance. Double-lip seals prevent dust, humidity and particles from entering the bearing region. The entire frame is coated with an electrostatic powder finish to protect the motor against chemicals, moisture and environmental conditions.

Thermal characteristics have been engineered to meet international reliability standards. Maximum temperature rise is <70K. Winding temperature tolerance reaches up to 105°C, while bearing regions operate reliably up to 75°C. Optional PTC and PT100 thermal sensors can be integrated for automated temperature monitoring and protection in advanced industrial systems.

Each DRG Motor 2.2 kW unit undergoes comprehensive testing before shipment. These include load performance tests, 500V Megger insulation testing, rotor balancing, vibration and noise measurement, continuous-duty (S1) run testing and IP55 environmental protection verification. Only motors that pass these strict quality controls are approved for delivery.
