DRG IE3 Series Electric Motors
The DRG IE3 series are three-phase asynchronous electric motors built to the IEC 60034-30-1 Premium Efficiency (IE3) class, covering a power range from 0.55 to 355 kW. With a cast iron frame and a wide choice of speeds and mounting types, they are shipped from stock for pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors and heavy industry.

Material Quality and Construction
Production quality: All windings are wound on fully automatic coil machines and reinforced with a vacuum-impregnation process.
Materials:
- 100% pure electrolytic copper: high conductivity, low losses, long winding life

The optimised fan profile and aerodynamic cover reduce air turbulence and lower the noise level.

Every motor undergoes a rotor balance test to the G 2.5 balance standard, extending bearing life, preventing frame resonance and ensuring quiet operation.
Thermal Design and Durability
The air channels in the body optimise heat dissipation:
